Concord's Head of Physics Retires
Staff and students said goodbye to Head of Physics Nick Blake who retired at the end of term. He has been Head of Physics at Concord for five of the seven years he has taught the subject at the school.
Graduation Ball 2016
Live streaming over the internet of the presentation ceremony at Concord’s eighth annual Graduation Ball was watched by 258 viewers in 24 countries – including 25 towns and cities across the UK. As is the tradition at Concord, this was the last formal occasion for the senior students, before they leave the college and embark upon the next stage of their education.
Medals for Lower School Mathematicians
Two Lower School students from Concord have won medals and gold certificates which has put them in the country’s top 100 mathematicians in their age group. Gold went to Form 5 student Reynold Fan and bronze to Jina Kim, who is in Form 3.
Swimming Gala 2016
The Summer term’s sporting calendar at Concord culminated with the Inter- house Swimming Gala. A large crowd gathered to cheer on the competitors and to support the teams in the final event of the Inter-house competition this year. With the overall standings for the Inter- house trophy so close, all four teams were keen to put in a strong performance in the gala.
