Concord debators in favour of immunisation
For the first time, a Form 3 debating team from Concord has competed in a county wide competition. And day student Rose Smith won the award for best speaker.
Valentine's Day fundraising is 'incredible'
A charity has described as ‘incredible’ the sum of money raised by students and staff at Concord in a Valentine’s Day fundraising campaign. A sum of well over £1,200 will be handed over by Concord’s Outreach Society to the Harry Johnson Trust which was established two years’ ago following the death of seven year old Harry in July 2014.
Concord hosts cultural exchange visit for Beijing No. 80 School
Concord has been hosting its first-ever cultural exchange visit from China. A group of 10 students and two teachers from Beijing No.80 School spent a total of 17 days at Concord and were joined by their Principal for two of those days.
House Arts Competition 2017
Now in its eighth year, the Inter-House Arts Competition was eagerly anticipated as the four houses battled it out in the theatre on Saturday 4th February to be the winners of the coveted House Arts Shield. The theme of the event was ‘Hope’ and all four houses were hopeful that they would win!
Concord's budding economists in competition semi-final
Budding economists from Concord’s Lowers School have made it through to an international competition’s semi-finals. The Ultimate Investors team at Concord College is through to the last 500 of the Student Investor Challenge which originally attracted an entry of 6,500 teams.
